Ultrawebgrid version 5.2 and update panel

    Hi all,

I am using ultra webgrid version 5.2 placed inside the updatepanel.

When I update any cell of the grid( Set alowautoupdate property to true and activate  updatecell event) , I got the javascript Error.

I want to know does this version of infragistics supports  update panel.

When I use grid outside the update pane, it works fine.

    thankyou in advance.

5.2 was released a long time ago and I do not believe that it supports the new asp:UpdatePanel from Microsoft. I have one suggestion though, you may try using the infragistics WARP (WebAsyncRefreshPanel) and see if it works - WARP is located in the Misc assembly.

Rumen is correct - NetAdvantage 2005 Volume 2 is only supported for use with Visual Studio 2002 and Visual Studio 2003, while UpdatePanel is only available in Visual Studio 2005 (with Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX Extensions installed) and Visual Studio 2008.  In specific, we didn't start providing support for our toolset with Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX Extensions until NetAdvantage for .NET 2006 Volume 2.

We didn't implement WARP until NetAdvantage for .NET 2006 Volume 3, so you won't have it available without upgrading to a more recent version.
